Prayer for America:

God, we are desperate people.
We see a nation torn apart.
We see families broken.
We see a wasteland of lost souls.
Heavy hearts fainting with fear.
This dry ground is breaking under our feet.
And these dry bones are waiting for the winds to change.

But You see Your people! And You hear our cries in this dry and weary land where there is no water!
Our strength is in remembering! Our power is in returning!
So we return to You!
Bring us back to truth as You did in the Reformation!
Sweep through every small town and city as you did in the Great Awakening!

Shake the nations like you shook the people of Wales!
Flood our streets like you flooded Azusa!
Let the Gospel echo through our stadiums again as You raise up a new generation of evangelists!
Let the airwaves be filled with Your truth!
Let our churches fall on their faces in repentance so that times of refreshing will come!

For we see the cloud the size of a man’s hand! And there is One greater than Elijah whose word alone will bring the rain!
Christ Jesus! Be lifted up in our homes, in our schools, in our workplaces, and in our churches!
Burst out of our walls and onto our streets again!
Rain down Your glory on us!
We pray this in the Mighty Name of Jesus - Amen!

Prayer for Children:

Jesus, we bring each of the precious children of {your state} before Your throne room of grace, and we plead the blood of Jesus over their minds, hearts, souls, spirits, and bodies. We put a hedge of protection and a wall of fire around them to guard and protect them from the attacks of the enemy.

God, we repent for harming the unborn. Forgive us for our apathy toward abortion and pro-life movements. Lord, we apply the blood of Jesus to cover every drop of innocent blood that has been shed in the state of {your state} Secure laws that protect the unborn and end abortion in our state! Raise up mothers and fathers who will raise foster and adopted children in Godly homes and also care for pregnant women and mothers.

And for the children of {your state}, may you see up close what other generations have only seen in the distance. May you speak out loud what other generations only dared to whisper. May you lay hold of with your hands what other generations only touched in prayer. You are for signs, wonders, and miracles. You are not for death and destruction. You will rise up and go from strength to strength and glory to glory. You will write a legacy alongside your parents. You are for dreams and visions, you will prophesy. You will release the promises of heaven as you walk the face of this earth.

We declare Song of Songs 8:6 over you: “Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all-consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being.:
